Awhile ago, I wrote about the importance of feeling good in your home. I told you all about my plans to motivated and create the type of living space that I felt good about. I wrote about it here. And then I totally dropped the ball. But, rather than consider myself doomed to a life of cardboard boxes and to-go meals, I revisited the issue here. And this time.. I’m doing it! I’m unpacking, I’m organizing, I’m purging the unnecessary, and I’m even scheduled to get some brand spankin new floors!
But perhaps the most important thing I’m FINALLY holding myself accountable for is cooking. I’ve never been good at it. I have a heard time following a recipe… I always think I can improve it with a bit of imagination. I am always wrong. And I honestly immediately dismiss anything that requires more than 7 ingredients… it’s like my non-negotiable.
It feels good to treat your body right from the inside out. If you’re like me, and enjoy eating out of whole foods containers at 10pm while sitting on your bed, then I hope you’ll take this step with me. Let’s slow down a bit. Food is such a luxury.. let’s enjoy it. I’ll be posting about my food journey a little more frequently on instagram.
My resource recommendations:
My FAVORITE food blog at the moment is hands down Deliciously Ella. She is incredible and I’m always excited to see what she’s concocting. Check her out here.
And here are two more instagram accounts I’m digging at the moment:
I hope this leaves you feeling inspired to eat well! And if you are a talented chef in the Wilm area then I hope this leaves you feeling inspired to move in to my kitchen.
